Here's what sets our sushi bar apart from every other hibachi restaurant on Route 33: our family also owns Blue Venture, a seafood import company with more than 40 years of expertise in seafood and food-service sourcing.
Blue Venture supplies premium seafood to some of the most demanding operations in the country — national distributors, major grocery sushi programs, and international cruise lines. When a kitchen can't afford a single bad piece of fish, this is who they call.
From Our Docks to Your Plate
So when we source the hamachi, tuna, shrimp, and salmon for our sushi bar, we're not calling a vendor and hoping for the best. We're drawing on four decades of direct-import relationships, hand-selecting the same sashimi-grade seafood we sell to professional kitchens nationwide — flash-frozen at the peak of freshness, exactly the way world-class sushi is meant to be handled. For most restaurants, "fresh" is a word on a menu. For us, it's the family business.

In Japanese, Mahzu represents the Pine Tree, a timeless symbol of endurance, strength, and welcoming good fortune. That gift from Grandma became the foundation of our entire dining philosophy: to build a neighborhood tradition in East Windsor that stands strong on quality, family, and authentic hospitality.
